Abby is half golden and half lab so she's all love. She exudes a happy and loving spirit and has never met an enemy. She loves all humans and animals, even if cats don't always return her affections.

Abby was rehomed to me when she was 7 years old because her former family was no longer able to care for her. My best friend had her brother from her litter and his parents had her sister so when they heard that Abby was looking for a new home they gave me a call. I drove to New Orleans and took her home with me and we have been inseparable ever since. There is probably an imprint of her nose on the back of my knee that's how attached we are. She is full of spunk and love for every person and animal that she encounters. Her favorite activity is sitting with me on a restaurant patio and greeting everyone as they walk in.
 
She was diagnosed with a thymoma, a cancerous mass in her chest, and given all of her options-- a surgery would completely remove the cancer and give her years vs a few months so I knew I needed to do whatever I could to give her the most time possible. I am so thankful to DogsLife for affording me the opportunity to save my best friend and I hope keep her by my side for years to come. She is the best thing that's ever been mine.
